The lifespan of lineolated parakeets in the wild and captivity is different. In the wild, lineolated parakeets can live up to 10 years old. While in captivity, lineolated parakeets can live up to 20 years. The reason is that in captivity, the bird gets proper care.

The Lineolated Parakeet is a type of parakeet that lives in highland clouds and dense rainforests in mountainous areas. In the wild, this bird lives in flocks of 20 birds. As winter approaches, all lineolated parakeets move to lowland areas to find food. One of the cleverest traits of this beautiful bird is its ability to mimic human voices and whistles.
